You will encounter about 50 different section codes. While most are self-explanatory, we've listed them here as a quick reference guide.

ABATEMENT – Use this code to enter abatement / remediation line items.

AC – Use this code to enter air conditioning and heating line items.

ACOUSTIC – Use this code to enter acoustical line items.

APPLIANCES – Use this code to enter appliance-related line items including appliances found in the kitchen, laundry room, and other areas of the dwelling.

BATH – Use this code to enter bath, vanity, and related line items.

CABINETS – Use this code to enter cabinetry items including kitchen, bathroom, and garage cabinets.

CLEANING – Use this code to enter items that require cleaning including ranges, appliances, fixtures, hardware, cabinets, countertops, ceilings, garage doors, fences, etc.

COLUMNS – Use this code to enter interior and exterior column line items.

CONCRETE – Use this code to enter concrete related line items.

CONTENTS – Use this code to enter any task involving moving or covering contents.

COUNTERTOPS – Use this code to enter all types of countertop line items.

COVERINGS – Use this code to enter patio covers, awnings, carports, and other coverings.

DEBRIS – Use this code for debris removal.

DOORS – Use this code to enter interior and exterior door-related line items.

DRYWALL – Use this code for drywall.

ELECTRICAL – Use this code to enter electrical line items.

EXCAVATION – Use this code for excavation-related line items.

FASCIA – Use this code to enter fascia-related line items.

FENCING – Use this code for all types of fencing.

FINISH – Use this code for finish carpentry.

FIREPLACES – Use this code for fireplace line items.

FLOORING – Use this code to enter flooring-related line items.

FRAMING – Use this code to enter framing-related line items.

GUTTER – Use this code to enter gutter-related line items.

HARDWARE – Use this code for finish hardware (such as deadbolts, hooks, towel holders, clotheslines, and weather-stripping) line items.

INSULATION – Use this code to enter insulation-related line items.

LIGHTING – Use this code to enter lighting-related line items.

MARBLE – Use this code to enter most marble-related line items including marble carvings, stone walls, coping stones, veneer, door and window architraves, and bathtub surrounds.

MASONRY – Use this code to enter masonry-related line items.

MOBILE – Use this code to enter line items specific to mobile homes including jacks, anchors, joists, trusts, shutters, frames, and vinyl skirting.

PAINTING – Use this code to enter painting-related line items with the exception of prep which has its own code (aptly called "PREP").

PANELING – Use this code to enter paneling-related line items.

PERMITS – Use this code to enter permit-related line items.

PLASTER – Use this code to enter plaster-related line items.

PLUMBING – Use this code for plumbing line items.

POOLS – Use this code to enter line items related to pools and spas.

PREP – Use this code to enter line items related to prepping a space for painting.

ROOFING – Use this code to enter roofing-related line items.

SCAFFOLD – Use this code to enter scaffolding-related line items.

SIDING – Use this code to enter siding-related line items with the exception of stucco which has its own code.

SKYLIGHTS – Use this code to enter line items related to skylights.

SOFFIT – Use this code to enter line items related to removing or replacing soffits.

SPECIAL – This code is often used for specialty line items such as mailboxes.

STAIRS – Use this code to enter line items related to stairwells and associated items.

STUCCO – Use this code to enter stucco-related line items.

TEMPORARY – Use this code to enter temporary line items such as emergency board-ups, tarp covers, temporary heating, traffic cones, storage trailers, job site security, etc.

TILE – Use this code to enter tile-related items such as tub and shower surrounds and backsplashes. Note this code is not to be used for tile flooring; use the FLOORING code for tile floors.

WALLPAPER – Use this code to enter wallpaper-related line items.

WATER – Use this code to enter water restoration-related line items.

WINDOWS – Use this code to enter window-related line items.
